I used to hike for one reason alone – I’m a complete sucker for breathtaking views. Hiking was never on top of the list of outdoor activities. I’ve heard of Merrell shoes but never thought it was worth spending money on a good set of hiking shoes.

That is until I went to Arches National Park and I was never the same again. How could one see those intricate rock formations and not fall completely in love with it? Unfortunately, one big regret I had was not having the right hiking shoes back then. The grip on my cross trainers wasn’t made to tackle difficult hikes and made exploring limited. I did some extensive research online and went to different shoe stores trying to find the right hiking shoes.

Until I found the ONE.

Merrell Women’s Moab Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot

These shoes take hiking in comfort to a different level. Since they are light weight, has arch support and no “breaking in” period. The traction is decent when I did some rock scrambling at Vasquez Rocks, hiked at Monument Valley, Devil’s Chair, Bryce Canyon in the snow, Horseshoe Bend, and Valley of the Gods. I seriously have a monogamous relationship with these shoes. I am obsessed with it.
